Holi is an ancient festival in India which dates back to several centuries before the birth of Christ. There's a popular legend behind the origin of this festival: Hiranyakasipu (the king of demons) had a son called Prahlad. He wanted to kill his son and he called upon his sister, Holika to perform the deed. She wore a magic robe (which provided protection from fire) and carried young Prahlad
